The Shirt Project for the University of Notre Dame
I was 1 of 2 designers chosen, out of over 300 applicants, to create the design for The Shirt. The Shirt is a 30+ year tradition at Notre Dame that sells an average of 200,000 t-shirts per year, with all of the proceeds going to student-led organizations. The Shirt is student-led and held weekly meetings to check progress on the design and unveiling event.
I was responsible for creating numerous iterations of design options and presenting them to my peers, as well as deciding the color and material of the shirt. A few months before the unveiling I was flown out to LA along with other members of The Shirt committee to meet with the vendors and make sure everything about the design was approved. In April 2019 we had the unveiling event and released our design with thousands of Notre Dame fans in attendance.
I've linked the website for The Shirt below if you're looking for a deeper explanation for one of my favorite Notre Dame traditions.
